Ear ache is generally caused by the bacteria and viruses; it affects the people of all age group. There are many ear ache symptom which gives a person warning that he must be suffering from an ear infection. People suffering from ear ache can generally feel pressure in the ear, with excruciating pain with development of pus or fluid in the infected area. The infection makes you feel dizzy; a feeling of fatigue grips you, and nausea followed by headaches, ringing, hearing loss and sometimes the fluids or pus starts oozing out from the ear. If not taken care of the symptoms may grow even worse leading to diarrhea, blurred vision and vomiting. These severe symptoms are seen mostly in children who are four times more susceptible to ear infection than adults.

The children get fever during infection. Babies who are unable to tell what hurts them may cry or pull on their ears. Children irrespective of their age with ear infection show irritability, listlessness, and does not feel like eating and sleeping. Some children will have difficulty in hearing. Breast fed babies suckle the milk, this process requires effort, this motion can cause strain in the baby’s sore ear and the baby will go of his feed.
